| plate clutch. Here's the issue that I've been having... When I've been driving for a long time, say driving to SoCal from NorCal on HWY 5 in 80+ degree weather where I've been driving for 3+ hours or when I'm driving in prolonged stop and go traffic, I've been having clutch slippage issues. After driving in the above scenarios, when I pull get to a stop at an offramp, once I step on the clutch, engage first gear, and blip the throttle and let of on the clutch pedal to get into gear, the clutch slips like I need a new clutch. It's not supposed to do that and the Exedy setup is supposed to take a lot of abuse. I have not driven hard as my current setup hasn't been tuned by Specialty Z yet. As soon as my car cools down like I've let it sit for 15-20 minutes, then clutch engagement, takeup, etc is normal. What would cause this? I have since replaced the clutch master cylinder, I have a chromoly pivot ball installed, but a stock Nissan clutch fork. Is there something else that I'm missing? Has anyone else had symptoms with their Zs that I've been having? I am trying to see if there is something else at fault before we pull the tranny. Fluid boiling over would not cause clutch slippage I would think. Any help and advice would be appreciated.
